Police Shoot Khuli Chana

Attempted murder charges have been opened against the police after local musician Khuli Chana was shot and wounded during the early hours of this morning.

The musician was shot by officers in an unmarked vehicle just after the New Road offramp in Midrand.The 31–year–old rapper, whose real name is Khulane Morule, stopped at the Caltex garage on New Road in Midrand for coffee before a performance.
As he was leaving, he tried to pass an unmarked minivan and was unexpectedly shot at.The police’s Neville Malila says the officers tried to stop Chana, but he didn’t pull over.

“Members that were on the offramp jumped into the road and flagged the vehicle down. The vehicle didn’t stop and that is when two warning shots were fired at his vehicle.” 

Chana’s manager Refiloe Ramogase says Chana is lucky the bullets ended up in the vehicle’s seat. “He’s just very lucky that the bullets ended up in the vehicle’s seat. One bullet is lodged in his finger and there’s some shrapnel in his back.” Ramogase says it appears that the police officers mistook him for a criminal.

“Apparently there was some kidnapping which happened and a car which roughly matched Khuli’s car was involved.” Chana is recovering at home.

Guess which rapper changed his name……Again

I used to have a problem with hip hop mogul P Diddy always changing his name. He started out as Puff Daddy, then he demanded we call him just Diddy, and now he is known as P. Diddy. No Puff, no Daddy!!
But he is over changing his name, we have another problem today.

Snoop Dogg, who changed his name to Snoop Lion last year has announced that he is changing his name again… to Snoopzilla.

Can you believe this?? It is believed the name is a tribute to legendary funk bassist Bootsy Collins, who’s nickname was Bootzilla.

The 41 year old rapper announced his name changed last night, to coincide with the release of his new album titled 7 Days of Funk.

Ab-Soul reatcs to XXL magazine “Kendrick Lamar & Black Hippy” headline

American rapper and Black Hippy members, Ab-Soul, along with Schoolboy Q, Jay Rock, and Kendrick Lamar all covered the October 29th issue of XXL Magazine.
The headline “Kendrick Lamar & Black Hippy” aggravated Ab-Soul. He took to Twitter to react and announce his upcoming project “Black Lip Pastor”

“If y’all keep printing “Kendrick Lamar & Black Hippy” I will remove myself from the group. Thanks.” Ab-Soul said.

B.O.B HAS A RELEASE DATE FOR HIS NEW ALBUM

B.o.B will soon release his third studio album, with aims to show off more of his hip-hop talents than shown on pervious efforts.

Teasing the project for quite some time now, the rapper has finally unveiled a release date setting his sights on December.

B.o.B announced the date on BET’s 106 & Park, “Ladies and gentlemen,Underground Luxury will be hitting stores December the 17th,” he revealed.

Earlier this month B.o.B spoke with XXL about the upcoming album deeming it his best work yet.
